N.E.J.Stevenson Limited is proud of its reputation, one that is maintained by the quality of everything that the company does. We are looking for a professional person to combine the two roles of Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to create a new position to enhance the company’s performance.
Tender submissions are prepared in great detail and presented in a highly professional format. The successful applicant will be required to prepare the detailed documentation based on a standard format having carefully analysed the supplied specifications and drawings.
On placement of an order you will be responsible for preparing the financial project documentation and monitoring the progress of the project in conjunction with the Finance and Contracts Directors.
You will control the preparation and administration of variations in conjunction with the project managers and prepare valuations and final accounts.
It is essential that the successful applicant has an extensive knowledge of bespoke furniture and joinery as well as high level financial abilities. You will be fully confident in the use of MS Word and Excel.
You will take a great deal of personal pride in your abilities and conduct yourself in a professional manner. You will be expected to be well groomed, self-motivated and comfortable in communicating ideas to colleagues and customers.

Standard working week 37.5 hours
Basic salary commensurate with experience, but in a range from £25,000 to £35,000
28 days annual leave (inclusive 8 statutory days)
